Campaign Story

Hello, we’re Erin and Trevor. We’re a couple living in the Adirondack mountains trying to grow our family. We met several years ago in college and have since become parents to two black cats, Lafayette and Banjo, and one beautiful dog, Lily. Trevor works for a local construction team and Erin works full time at a restaurant. We like to spend our days off paddling rivers and lakes, skiing, fishing and biking. We got married on a hot day in the summer of 2022 (the hottest day ever I’m pretty sure). As we enjoyed our time as newlyweds, Erin began having some health issues. By Christmas of 2022, we learned that Erin has Premature Ovarian Insufficiency. After many tests, and multiple doctors, it’s been determined that she has a nearly zero percent chance of conceiving using her own eggs. While this news was very difficult at first, we decided to move forward with fertility treatment hoping that donor eggs would be the way to grow our family.

During the summer of 2024, we completed three unsuccessful embryo transfers. It’s been an emotional and stressful journey. However, we’re not ready to give up and are now saving for another round. Between the cost of the donor eggs, fertility medications and hospital visits, we’ve decided to reach out for help. This is why we’re asking for any generous donations to help us reach our goal of $10,000 to put towards our efforts for this second round. Please help us try to achieve our dream of becoming parents to a beautiful baby. We thank you and are deeply grateful for any and all help at this time.
